Foro Sports Club is a well-maintained sports complex located at 14725 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX. With a focus on soccer and sand volleyball, the facility boasts high nets to catch soccer balls and excellent sand and nets for volleyball. The courts are well-maintained, and the facility has a professional appearance. Parking is ample and available in the garage across the street. Foro Sports Club is open seven days a week, from Monday to Sunday, with varying hours depending on the day. The complex is always busy, especially the soccer fields, and the pickup games are affordable with a pretty even skill level. THIS PLACE NEEDS HELP. My grade-school son’s soccer club played in the summer league here. The fields and turf seem ok. The facility is brutal in the summer with no shade on the fields and most of seating areas. The facility feels generally disorganized. Fields are not marked so you never know where you’re going. Games usually started late. Referees inconsistent. No bathrooms other than port-a-potty which is the most disgusting thing you have ever seen. Poor seating area for teams on sidelines and poor space for spectators. No dedicated parking. Poor setup and poor condition of walkways to get to fields. Trash littering the sidelines and areas surrounding the fields BECAUSE THERE ARE NO TRASH CANS. The back of the facility looks like a junkyard for old field equipment.
The actual fields themselves seem ok but this place is so mismanaged. My son is in the 7v7 league and we don’t get the game schedule until a couple days before each game. They supposedly require birth certificates for the league yet it appears some teams are much much older than what they say. Bathrooms are disgusting- a trailer that is filthy and missing TP and paper towels all the time. Handicap stall is always out of order. Massive dumpster sitting at the entrance is pretty off putting. Umbrellas over the bleachers are broken and could hurt someone if the wind picks up.
This is the most inept soccer organization in DFW! Please stay away…
1) The leagues they run are a joke. We have played in FSA/PYSA rec/competitive for years and due to unforeseen team dynamics at club signup, didn’t have enough players so we were forced to play 9v9 as U13 at Foro. Big mistake!
2) The fields are hard as a rock. We have had multiple serious injuries on our team this season and I attribute it to the bright green carpet they have on their concrete base!
3) The referees are a joke. They may or may not enforce players cards, basic uniform or player safety & random players in multiple uniforms might be rotating in & out.
4) Their schedules barely gives you a couple of days of notice each week?
5) The front office is unhelpful and could care less when referee/player safety was brought up to them.
The bathrooms are a bit of a challenge to find (look for the small trailer at the far end of the fields), but the park is big and spacious with lots of activities happening at once.
Great and all but a specific ref doesn’t follow the rules for him my son lost the final because during free kicks they always have to touch the ball 2 times with 2 players and the opponent didn’t touch it 2 times I HATE the ref and always is cussing to the little kids.
I've played here for a few months. During that time, there was flooding from a nearby creek which covered the fields in mud, but the owner Bob had the fields cleaned and open the next day.
I've played in a 5v5 soccer tourney here. It was pretty well managed, there was hot food available, and the games were kept on schedule.
The pickup games are cheap and the skill level is pretty even - most players have a good attitude and the ones that don't usually aren't around long.
Bob has some a great job with the place, I'll continue coming back here for a while yet
Good place to practice and play soccer games on turf. Turf is in good condition and there is plenty of spots to watch games from. It is a tight fit, planted between buildings. But very functional nonetheless.
Great sports complex. Everything is well maintained. It's always very busy especially the soccer fields
